Blogmas Day 6,7,8,9,10,11,12&13

Hello!

So I have just realised that I am terrible at remembering to blog every day. It's been about seven days since you will have seen a blogmas post from me. I'm really sorry I've been really busy trying to finish college work to meet deadlines and it has just slipped my mind.

On Saturday I put my Christmas tree up so I though I would show you some picture to get back into blogmas and daily blogging.

Blogmas Day 3

Hello!

So again today isn't going to be Christmasy. I was going to paint my nails like snowmen to get in the Christmas spirit by I've been waiting all day for a plumber(and I'm still waiting) so I can't have wet nail when they come because I don't want to ruin them! So hopefully I'll do them tomorrow & you'll get to see them!

So here is a picture of a snowman I made on Photoshop to make up for the non Christmasyness an me not painting my nails!

I hope you all had lovely advent calendar treats!

Blogmas Day 2

Hello!

So today I have absolutely nothing Christmasy to talk about. I might think of something later but I'm in college so now is probably the only time I will get to do it.

What was behind the window on your advent calendar today? As I said yesterday I don't have so I'll have to find pictures of the window on Google but I am looking forward to giving my rabbit his later.

When do you put your Christmas tree and decorations up? I don't think my mum will let me do it yet but I'm working on it and I don't think she'll mind if I do it all.

Hope you have a good Blogmas Day 2!

Blogmas Day 1

Hello!

It is the first of December, which means Christmas can officially start now and it also means the start of my blog series blogmas.

The 1st of December also means you get to open the first window on your advent calendar. I don't actually have one because I don't like the chocolate in them but I got on for my rabbit so i can still have the joy of opening the window and them my rabbit gets a nice treat.

Yesterday we got our first Christmas card and my mum let me put it up today so that was exciting! But other than that all I have done today is tidy up so I don't have a lot to blog about.

Happy December 1st everyone!!

Blogmas!!

So it's December 1st tomorrow and I am getting very excited about people starting vlogmas. I was desperately looking around for a blog version but I just couldn't find anything and it saddened me but then I thought, why don't I just do one myself. I came up with blogmas, I don't know if anyone has done this before but I couldn't seem to find anything when I typed it into Google.

Every day up until Christmas I will blog about something. I want to try and make all of the posts Christmas themed but I apologise if a few aren't.

Let me know if you've ever seen anything like this on blogs before or if you join in with this!

Teeny Tiny Haul!

Hola!

Yesterday after I finished college I decided to go and have a little nose around the town and I did buy a couple of things so I thought I would show you because I've never done a haul before. But be warned, this is probably going the be the worlds tiniest haul!

I only bought three things and two of them were the same. The first thing that I bought was a pair of tights from Primark. These tights are quite thick and have a 300 denier appearance. But, the best part about them is that they have a fleecy lining! I bought these because I get cold really easily and it is defiantly coming into winter now where is live so I am probably just going to wear these under jeans and leggings so hopefully they'll be as warm as they look.

The last two things I bought were the same. Two black Christmas hats with Bah-Humbug written on them. I got these from the 99p shop. These are going to be Christmas presents for my parents because they keep telling me November is too early for Christmas adverts! I also mentioned these in my joke gift guide.

Beauty On A Budget #1

Hello there!

Today I am going to start a series. I don't know exactly when or how often these posts are going to be but I am defiantly going to do more of them. The series is going to be Beauty On A Budget and I am going to try out different budget beauty products and let you know what I think about them. So it is going to be a mix of different reviews, some good and some bad.

The first product is MUA's Mascara. I have the black waterproof one. You can purchase this for just £1 HERE.

This isn't the best mascara I've owned but it is the only £1 one I have tried. So taking the fact it is only a pound into account it is a really good mascara. It is good if you are going for a natural look because it adds a subtle hint of black to your lashes without being too in your face. Now onto the negatives. It isn't waterproof and if I catch my finger on it the black will rub off onto my skin even if it has been dry for a few hours. Despite these few negatives I like this mascara, it does the job I want it too and for £1 you can't really go wrong. Would I buy it again? Probably not as I like to try different mascaras when mine run out.

The next product I have is Natural Collection Pressed Powder. The colour I have is Warm and you can buy it for £1.99 HERE.

I have only owned one other brad of pressed powder (I think I bought it from a market when I was about 10) but this is the best and the only one I use. It sets my foundation well without leaving my face too look powdery and I like the finish that it gives me. It also sets my Lasting Perfection Concealer well because I don't always have time to apply foundation as well. All in all I really like this face powder. Would I buy it again? Yes, this is the second one I have owned.

Let me know if you try these out.

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

Hello!

So I know I'm a little late jumping on the bandwagon with this concealer but I only discovered it a couple of months ago and I've only just started this blog. I'm sure most of you will already have heard of this and possibly tried it. But anyway I'm going to give you my thoughts on it as I'm am getting near the end of the tube.

You can purchase it from boots HERE for £4.19. I have the lightest shade of this as I am quite pale. It is a tiny bit light for my skin but it's fine if I blend it well or put foundation over the top of it. I have very dark veins under my eyes that no matter how much I sleep or how much water I drink they will just not go! I've not quite come to terms with that fact that they are going to be permanently there yet. This is the highest coverage concealer I have tried and it is so far the best. The veins are quite a blue colour and this covers them great when I put it on. I have noticed that during the day while I'm at college that it fades away. But, I normally just put concealer on with no foundation or powder as I am rushing out of the door in the morning.

The only bad things about this concealer is that the writing wears off the bottle and it may rub off onto your hands and it doesn't have any colours available for people with a darker skin tone. I head read about this before I tried it so I was careful when using it. Overall I think this is a great concealer and I will defiantly be re purchasing it when mine runs out.

Whats In My Handbag!

Hola amigos!

As you can tell from the title I am going to show you the contents of my handbag. I like these type of posts because I am quite a nosy person, so I hope you like this too.

So this is the contents of my bag! In it I have my purse, gloves, a tube map, Vaseline, a brush/mirror thing, old bus tickets and random college papers.

Normally my phone and keys will be in there as well but I forgot to find them for the photo and I normally have chewing gum, plasters and tissues but for some reason they wasn't in there.

I also forgot to take a photo of my bag so sorry about that but, it is a brown leather look bag that I got from Primark ages ago for anyone that's interested.

What do you keep in your bag?

Christmas In November!

Hello there!

Last night I was watching The Xfactor and in the advert break the Coca Cola Christmas advert came on. To me Christmas has always officially started once I have seen this advert but, it doesn't normally come out until December. So even though I've seen this advert and it has marked the start of Christmas for me, I still think the beginning of November is way to early for Christmas to start.

You can watch the advert here:

When does Christmas officially start for you?

Overpriced?

Hola!

So I am in need of a new winter coat as I've had the same one for about three years. I was looking online for coats that I like and I found a couple but I personally think they are fairly pricey for what they are and as an unemployed student can I warrant paying over £25 for a coat? I think not. I guess I should have expected a larger price tag as one if from Next and the other is form Topshop but I still think that it is ridiculous.

This is the one from Next, it is priced at £75 and is available for purchase HERE.

This is the Topshop one, it is priced at a more expensive £95 and you can buy it HERE.

Both of them have a fur trim hood and have a removable fleece lining. I liked the idea that it would keep me warm in the winter months and I could then remove the fleece lining and I would be able to wear it in the stranger months that are warm but not quite warm enough to not go out with out a coat.

Personally I prefer the more expensive one from Topshop. I think it is just the white fur on the hood that appeals to me more.

Would you pay this much for a coat?

Asos Sale!

Hello there!

I was browsing at some online shops and discovered the Asos sale. I know lots of shops will have sales on at the moment to get rid of their left over clothes but, I thought I would share some of the pieces I found with you.

I have a bag similar to this in white and I really like it so I thought I would share this one with you. It is £9.50 down from £20 and is available HERE.

As it is coming into winter you'll be looking for warm clothing. This jumper will give warmth as you can layer tops under it and it will still look cute. It is £10 down from £15 and you can buy it HERE.

These are just a regular pair of jeans but they £7.50 down from £11 and at that price who can turn them down? Available HERE.

I love the way Converse look and go with most outfits, although these aren't actually Converse they are £9 down from £12.99 so who cares! Purchase them HERE.

What are some of you favorite items you've found in a sale?

TV!

Hola!
How are you doing?

Today I am going to tell you about some different TV shows I love and some new ones I have just stared watching.

The first show that I am absolutely obsessed with is The Vampire Diaries. It is shown on ITV2 and it is just amazing! It is now into the fifth series and I am so happy that Elena is a vampire & now with Damon!! They have also just started a spin-off show called The Originals, it is shown on SyFy and is all about the original family of vampires. Even though the show is only two episodes in I can already tell I am going to love it.

Another program that I like is Revolution. It is shown on Sky Living(I think) and is about a post apocalyptic world where they have no power. The second series has just started and I can tell it is going to be just as good as the first.

And lastly some new shows that have started. The first one that I really liked is Atlantis it is shown on BBC1 and if you like comedy then you will love this as it has a lot of humor in it. Sadly though I think it is just a one off series. :( Another show that I have been watching is Sleepy Hollow this is shown on Sky Living and is about a man called Ichabod Crane who has woken up in the present day to defeat the headless horseman. The last show is Dracula and I think this is shown on Sky living as well. I didn't really understand what was going on but I've only seen one episode so I'll have to wait and see if it gets any better.

What are your favorite shows?

Random Thoughts

I really want my bellybutton pierced. I know they're not to everyone's taste but I like the way they look. The problem is, I'm a wimp, I don't like needles so I am worried that it'll hurt.

Also, why is England so cold? I hate it! I really want to move to Spain, the weather is so much nicer and their way of life is so much more relaxed than ours, I mean, you never see a Spanish person rushing around. I want to teach myself Spanish as well, but I have absolutely no idea where or how to start. I know basic things like hello, goodbye, please, thank you, yes, no and a few random sentences but I'm nowhere near a conversational level so that just wont cut it if I moved to Spain.
